Browser storage
Cookie Notice
A single essential note in your browser, two kinds that ask first, and the controls for both.
A word on cookies
Cookies are tiny text notes a site leaves in your browser, and local storage behaves in much the same way. Here only one note is essential; every other kind waits for permission.
Three kinds on this site
| Category | Purpose | When active | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Holds your cookie switches so the bar stays away | Always on | Twelve months |
| Analytics | Totals of visits and of the stops people open | Only after a yes from you | Up to two years |
| Advertising / affiliate | Ties a booking to the referral link that led to it | Only after a yes; forced off under GPC | Set by each partner |
Flipping the switches
The control, here and in each Fountainhouse footer, reopens the switches; set them and save. Wiping stored data for this website in your browser settings resets everything and brings the bar back.
When your browser sends GPC
A Global Privacy Control flag from your browser keeps advertising and affiliate storage switched off on every Fountainhouse page, regardless of how the toggle looks.
