About the publisher

The owner of the hotel writes these pages. Here is why, how they are checked, and how they get corrected.

The house behind the pages

The publisher is Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC (Saratoga Casino Hotel). Its small editorial room, which we call the Fountainhouse desk, takes letters at 342 Jefferson Street, Saratoga Springs NY 12866 and email at contact@australiacasinohotel.com.

One honest word about the name: this site covers a single hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York, and it has no connection of any kind with Australia.

Owner, author, same desk

Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC owns Saratoga Casino Hotel, and these pages are the owner’s own account of it. Treat the review as a description from the house itself; nobody independent wrote or vetted it. We still think a careful walk through the rooms, the dining and the spa town is useful, and we would rather name the weak spots here than have a guest find them at the front desk.

Where revenue comes from

Revenue arrives along two routes. Certain outbound booking links can include a referral tag, and when a stay gets reserved after such a click, the Fountainhouse desk may be paid a modest referral fee by the partner involved. Separately, because the operator owns the property, any room booked direct ends up as hotel revenue for it. Your rate is untouched by either route; the disclosure paper sets out both.

Drafting and checking (E-E-A-T)

Drafts start from the hotel’s published room sheets, dining notes and guest FAQ, plus the questions that callers really put to the front desk. Spa-town facts — the springs, Congress Park, the State Park — are cross-read with public park and city visitor material. Before every refresh an editor re-reads each stop against current hotel information, and anything that cannot be pinned down is turned into a question for you to raise with the hotel.

You will find no guest testimonials, numeric grades, awards or nightly prices here. Rates shift by the day, and borrowed praise would be either invented or hand-picked.

Fixing mistakes

Found a stop on the walk that no longer matches the building? Mail the Fountainhouse desk at contact@australiacasinohotel.com with the web address and the faulty line quoted. Reports are looked at within a few working days, confirmed slips are put right quickly, and larger revisions move the “Updated” line on the page.
